THE RED LIONThe pub where a meeting to inaugurate the world's oldest classic horse race, the St Leger, was held.
Don't MissDon't Miss ... the bronze tablet on the wall commemorating the dinner party held here in 1777 after the inaugral St Leger race where some suggested the race be named after Lord Rockingham, who replied "No, it was my friend St Leger who suggested the thing to me, call it after him."
