Doncaster Minster, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire

DONCASTER MINSTER

Doncaster Minster (or St George's Minster or St Georges Parish Church) is almost the size of a great cathedral an it replaced a medieval church which burned down in 1833. It was designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott and was finished in 1858, it is 170 feet long and has a huge tower which stands 170ft high.
