All Saints Church, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire

ALL SAINTS CHURCH

All Saint's Parish Church was built in 1122 from a single donation by a Sir Thomas Cook.

The church features some marvellous stained glass windows and a statue of Sir Thomas Cook's head!

Outside the Church there is a lepers' squint (now filled in with cement) - a method how locals with leprosy could watch the church service without infecting the main congregation!

Did You Know...

Did you know that the daughter of Reverand Thomas Todd (parish priest here between 1895 and 1910) wrote the Worzel Gummidge novels?
